An Exhibition Booth for Strong Connections: Platform Science at IAA Transportation
For Platform Science we designed a custom exhibition booth for IAA Transportation 2026 that featured a strong brand presence and functional work and communication areas. Spanning 60 sqm, the modern corner booth combined open meeting spaces with quiet areas and individual workstations.
Custom Trade Show Booth Design with a Clear Layout
The exhibition booth was equipped with a raised floor and carpet and featured walls up to six meters high. This created a spacious and highly visible brand presence that made optimal use of the space.
An integrated booth provided additional storage space and could be used functionally with appropriate booth furnishings. Plants were strategically used to divide the space, separating seating and standing areas without compromising the open feel of the corner booth.
Rental Furniture and Equipment for Meetings
A combination of rental furniture and custom-built fixtures was used to furnish the trade show booth. A counter served as a central gathering point for visitors. The booth was complemented by seating and standing tables, chairs, and stools.
A distinctive design element was the three monitors, which were arranged in a mosaic pattern. This allowed digital content to be integrated into the trade show booth design in an eye-catching way.
Fabric banners and light boxes for branding
Custom-made design elements featuring integrated LED technology added distinctive accents. A decorative wall panel with indirect lighting and an illuminated wall niche lent the trade show booth additional depth and emphasized its high-end atmosphere.
The strategically placed light lines complemented the booth’s clean, minimalist design and ensured that the furniture on display was shown to its best advantage.
High-quality graphics and brand presentation
To ensure consistent brand communication, the high walls were covered with fabric graphics. A large-format light box provided additional visibility and effectively highlighted the Platform Science branding.
In addition, individual logo graphics were used to subtly incorporate the brand identity into various areas of the exhibition booth.
Custom-made products from our carpentry shop in Bielefeld
An important component of the booth design was two custom-built workstations. Our carpentry shop created two workstations, each with two work areas—tailored to Platform Science’s requirements.
In this way, the exhibition booth combines custom fabrication with a functional use of the exhibition space, creating not only traditional meeting areas but also space for product-related presentations and one-on-one conversations.
