Our role as general supplier at Hometex
On November 19 and 20, 2025, the Hometex Winter Fair opened its doors once again at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center. Despite a slightly more compact format, the event once again proved to be an important showcase for the bedding, home, and home textiles industry. It was a particular pleasure for us to once again be the general contractor for the entire exhibition hall, as in previous years, thus creating the framework for a successful trade fair.
Across 2,885 square meters of stand space, we created 54 exhibition booths, ranging from small 12-square-meter areas to spacious 96-square-meter displays. Our range of services included modern system solutions, high-quality floor coverings, and individually designed wall elements, as well as the provision of suitable rental furniture, professional lighting trusses, and elaborately planned, conventional exhibition booths. We were also particularly pleased to gain eleven new customers, whom we were able to accompany at Hometex for the first time.
540 sqm catering area – A central meeting place at Hometex
Once again, a key component of our project was the approximately 540 square meter catering area, which we fully equipped. This included furnishing, appropriate lighting, and the construction of a small cabin for food service. In addition, we prepared the entire technical infrastructure for the awards ceremony on Wednesday evening—a highlight that attracts numerous visitors every year.
As usual, SCM Catering provided the culinary offerings, accompanying trade fair guests with a comprehensive food service: from breakfast and hot lunches to a variety of snacks. The high quality and reliability of SCM contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere and overall experience of Hometex 2025.
A successful winter trade fair at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center
Even though this year’s winter edition of Hometex was somewhat smaller than usual, the trade fair was a resounding success. The combination of a strong professional audience, high-quality exhibitor presentations, and optimal equipment throughout the entire exhibition hall once again demonstrated the importance of this event for the industry. We are proud to be part of this development and are already looking forward to upcoming projects at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center. And we are already looking ahead to the larger summer edition of Hometex, which will take place again on June 24 and 25, 2026.
