Three halls, many projects – a strong trade fair presence

From June 25 to 26, 2025, we were once again part of the home game in Bad Salzuflen: Hometex Summer took place for the 15th time this year – and was bigger than ever before. For the first time, the industry trade fair occupied three complete exhibition halls, spread over around 20,000 sqm of exhibition space. For us as a booth builder and general outfitter, this meant: lots to do – and with exciting projects.

On Wednesday evening, the full program was rounded off outside in the best weather: The traditional trade fair party with live music, a good atmosphere and cool drinks provided a relaxed end to an intensive day at the fair.

Around 170 projects in 1.5 weeks – variety on over 10,000 sqm

In total, we were able to realize over 170 projects – from small areas with carpeting or wall modules to complete conventional exhibition booths. Custom-made products from our joinery, such as partition walls, platforms and shelving, were also in particularly high demand. This was complemented by graphic solutions of all kinds – from simple logo plots to full-surface prints and backlit fabric banners.

The use of materials was also impressive:

  • 8,439 m² of carpeting
  • 866 m² laminate flooring
  • Construction of 2 catering areas and a wellness lounge

The exhibitors included brands such as Vossen, Frankenstolz, Janine and Bassetti, as well as new exhibitors such as Fossflakes, Alpaka Living, Meise Möbel and Erzstef, for whom we were able to design areas for the first time.

New hall, new planning team, proven collaboration

This year’s set-up was not only special because of the larger area required – we also had a few internal changes. Nevertheless, the coordination of the various projects ran smoothly and reliably. The close exchange with the organizer, exhibitors and service providers on site worked well – there was a lot of positive feedback, which we are very happy to pass on to our team.

The new trade fair organizer, SN-Verlag Michael Steinert, was also very satisfied with our efforts. Of course, we are delighted – especially because such large-scale projects are always real teamwork.

Hometex summer 2025 – the industry meets

In recent years, Hometex Summer has developed into the most important trade fair for home and household textiles in the DACH region. What once began as ABK OPEN in the Gerry Weber Event Center is now a firmly established meeting place for the industry and trade. The concept continues to impress with free admission, free parking, all-day catering and an atmospheric evening event with live music.

The trade fair was fully booked except for a few remaining spaces – with a particularly strong presence: Suppliers of sleep systems, who had an almost exclusive presence in two of the three halls.

After the fair is before the fair

After this strong summer performance with three full halls, we will soon be moving on – the next Hometex is coming up in the fall. It will be a little more compact, but certainly no less exciting. We are looking forward to it!
