As almost the only remaining trade fair in January 2022, the ABK Open Home was able to take place at the end of January and thus entered new territory in two ways: For the first time, the ABK organized the ABK Open Home and after ten successful trade fairs in Halle/Westphalia, the entire event now moved to the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center.
The ideal infrastructure on site created additional space for meeting and exchanging and ensured that all hygiene conditions could be met. While major trade fairs such as Heimtextil and imm were cancelled, ABK Open Home could be held under 2G conditions. Spacious exhibition areas, wide aisles and a large catering area ensured appropriate space. Powerful ventilation systems ensured a permanent air exchange.
About 50 suppliers for the German bed trade presented their current collections on a total of 4,000 sq m in the exhibition hall 22.1. We were allowed to accompany a total of 37 exhibiting companies and realized booths on almost 1,500 sq m. Through numerous wall elements, floor coverings and different furniture we designed equally large areas for the organizer.
In a difficult time, characterized by numerous event cancellations and postponements, we look back with satisfaction on a successful ABK Home Open and are already looking forward to the ABK Open in June this year.
